We offer a complete one stop shop for anyone putting on an event or needing sound installation into their venue. We have over 40 years experience and understand how important set design is.  Whether you need sound equipment or lighting equipment, PA system hire or stage management, we can help.

Our new stage designs offer you a choice; whether you need a simple structure for a small indoor event or a larger stage for a festival outdoors, we have the flexibility to deliver.

Our experienced staff can help you decide on the right set design or lighting, sound or stage hire for your event. We have lighting designers if you want to create a certain look and we have an event management team which includes stage management and production management, if you don’t want the hassle of producing the event yourself.

Unlike some other hire companies we have no hidden hire costs and don’t charge you for the leads to go with your PA system hire and everything you need is included.  The only extra is delivery if required.

We work with councils and other organisations as well as production companies, specialising in the hire of professional sound and lighting equipment with flexible stage design options.

SRD Group have worked with many artists over many years including Madonna, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, The Wanted, Eliza Dolittle, Military Wives Choir, Simply Red and Billy Ocean.

Our policy is to maintain equipment to the highest standards and regularly check for safety.  All our electrical equipment and lighting equipment is regularly PAT Tested and all equipment is checked before every hire.  On site technical support is available if required.  Safety should be a prime consideration of any organiser and SRD take its Health and Safety responsibilities very seriously and can also help you to ensure your event operates safely.

SRD is committed to providing safe stages, structures and technical equipment operated and installed by staff working safely.  We aim to make sure that our policies not only comply with all the health and safety at work regulations but meet or exceed all relevant guidelines for:

Training, Stages and Structures, Equipment, Risk Assessment, Insurance and Documentation.

SRD offers a wide range of indoor and outdoor staging, sound, lighting, on site PA systems, video facilities, power supply and distribution solutions, site cabins, pit barriers, event management services and noise monitoring and control.  Equipment can either be as stand alone items, delivered, set up and installed or we can design a suitable package of items and services to provide you with a simple event production solution which meets your full requirements.

Each project is given the personal attention of our event coordinators.  Each project is unique and we cost each job on its exact specification.

It is normal practice, in most cases, for one of our Project Managers to make a site survey.  This process ensures that we can offer you an exact quotation that will satisfy your requirements in the most cost effective way and give you the reassurance that there will be no hidden extras.

We do offer some basic standard packages that include a stage with a standard sound and lighting packages. These are geared towards straightforward events.  Within the cost there are allowances for staff and transport.Prices vary depending on the individual requirements of each event.
