£120 for delivery

An ignorant lady from the customer center has delayed our delivery, was supposed to arrive on Friday but they were horrible on production hence delayed to the week afterwards, we urgently needed the banners on Saturday hence we asked whether it’s possible to fix their own mistakes, the lady then attempted to charge us £120 for delivery which we negotiated to £60. They have then put down a faulty address which caused delayed delivery and we have failed to receive our banners on Friday at the end.

As a result, we were not able to open on Saturday and Sunday, resulting in a total loss of £3407.81.

They should feel ashamed to be called Big Art, seriously horrible.

Hi Sean,

I have taken a look into this and I can see that there was an initial delay with your order that was caused by an incomplete shipping address, which meant we were unable to dispatch your order. Then, at your request, the specification of your order was altered to which our team did their utmost to accommodate, and a fee was agreed for an upgraded courier service in an attempt to counteract the incurred delays. However, the courier let us down on this occasion which is unfortunately beyond our control. Then, as a gesture of goodwill your order was then reprinted at our cost and is now with you, to which you have acknowledged receipt of.

I trust this resolves your issue. We pride ourselves on providing the highest customer service in the industry, and we regret that you felt that this negative review was necessary despite our best efforts to resolve issues that were not caused as a result of our service.

an example of HOW NOT to do customer service

An excellent example of HOW NOT to do Customer Service

I Placed an order on 28/12/22, They confirmed a PART Refund was due of £10+vat on 04/01/23

After hearing nothing, I contacted them again on 12/02/23

The response was:

Hi,

I have chased this with our accounts department and will send over your credit memo once this has been processed.

Kind regards,

Today is 23/02/23 - and I've heard NOTHING.

I get the feeling they are only really interested in bigger companies. FIRST AND LAST Order with these guys - Avoid if you can.

Update: After submitting (what I thought was a public review) this refund has now been processed on 24/02/23.

Arrived band / damaged due to poor…

Arrived band / damaged due to poor packaging. Logo was clear and looked good but the black background has lines running down it where the ink was either running out or needed a print head clean cycle. Doesn’t look professional and won’t be going up, so waste of money.

Have ordered a few times and one of our…

Have ordered a few times and one of our orders got missed. However, they were brilliant and sorted everything I needed in time for our show. Can't fault their customer service and the products are good quality. Would definitely recommend.

How to lose a good customer for just £10...

I've spent in well excess of £1,000 on various jobs with Bigartandbanners over the last couple of months. I've been generally happy up until today when I paid for a new order and they insisted on charging me an extra £10 to do the slightest alteration on some duplicate artwork from a previous job. I explained to Laura that because of this, it would be the last order I would be placing with them. Her response was pretty much, 'I couldn't care less'.

It's not a problem as there are plenty of other companies out there providing the same products.

As a business owner myself, I would have swallowed the £10 to retain a customer.

UPDATE 16/06/2020. I received a call from Andrew the Sales Director who refunded the £10 promptly and apologised. He accepted that it could have been handled better. As I have been happy with their products and service previously, I will now continue to use them.

The Only Banner company you'll ever need!

We have worked with Big Art and Banners for a long time and have been so pleased with their excellent service and dedicated team. They are pros at what they do, really helpful if you need help with artwork or with the design layout and they are our banner supplier of choice. After almost choosing a banner company…

After almost choosing a banner company that had the most horrendous reviews, my colleague came across Big Art Banners. Their order system is a breeze and the delivery service is amazing - ordered Thursday, arrived first thing Monday morning. The quality and finish are just fantastic and we were well pleased with the results. See it for yourself on the A628 - it is the new JMC banner, to be installed this weekend (24th August 2018).

Great service and product

Ordered two photographic information boards for a local voluntary organisation - came back in good time, well wrapped, and just what we wanted. However, the colours were not quite right, so contacted Mike, who investigated and reprinted. They are now spot on, and we will have more boards to do in due course - with Big Art.
It's only when something isn't quite right that you find out what the company involved is really like - and Mike came up trumps.

Quick to respond and super helpful (thank you Laura!)

I had a lovely person named Laura help me with my enquiry and order placement via email on Monday (07/11/22). Laura was so helpful and quick to respond and I couldn’t be happier with the finished product, which arrived today (10/11/22). It is a custom size poster for personal use in my room, the quality is amazing and it looks fantastic. If I ever wanted something like this again I would absolutely use big art and banners again. Thanks so much!

Corex Property Boards

We went online and got some quotes for Property Boards to put outside houses when our installations are in progress. Big Art and Banners were the best price for the quality required. They turned the order around really quickly and the quality of the print job is excellent. We will definitely be back for more when we run out again.

Quick, and very helpful

We needed a dozen PowerPoint charts made into A3 boards. What we didn't know was that the charts were not quite in proportion for the A3 shape - company were really helpful in resolving this. Good prices too, and reliable delivery

Very disappointed with the service…

Very disappointed with the service received, we ordered a product from you and requested "Opaque" and we have not received what was ordered, we have spent time going back to your company to resolve the issue, this alone has taken a while for someone to come back to us, we have also not been satisfied with your help or response, we do not rate your company, we will not recommend your company to any of our customers and will never use you again!

I have taken a look into this and can see that you placed an order on our website for some Opaque White Vinyl from our Window Graphics Printing range. The definition of opaque is 'not transparent or translucent' so we describe this product on our website as an 'opaque vinyl for a print with no transparency. Any clear areas on your artwork will be white'. This is what we produced and dispatched to you.

I can see from your email communications with our team that you raised an issue regarding the product you received, to which we replied to all emails on the same day.

If customers have any queries about our product options, we always strongly advise getting in touch prior to ordering so that we can advise accordingly based on your needs. Otherwise, we can only produce what has been ordered.
