The company Red Cactus chose to supply a Pub Olympics for 60 people at our partner conference was a very good choice! The people were great, the games were fun, the equipment was good, even the winners trophy was decent! Red Cactus were good communicators and it was quite simple to get them to invoice us in a way that suited us. I recommend!

Booked up for footy golf in Feb for Saturday on April 20th 2024 only to let down 3 days before the so called event , now gotta arrange summat else in 3 days , communication is very poor witg RED CACTUS and the people there ain't got a clue sorry but AVOID AVOID AVOID BEING LET DOWN

We're very sorry that your event cannot go ahead this weekend.
We are also frustrated for you as this is a situation out of our control. The Foot Golf course where your event was due to take place informed us they have had to close completely due to health and safety reasons.
We informed you as soon as we were made aware of this along with other bookings we had in place. Unfortunately, we have no alternative foot golf courses in Manchester so we are unable to provide the Foot Golf event at another course for you.
We did offer you alternative activities in Manchester which could take place at a different venue however, you opted for a full refund which we processed immediately.
Once again, we are sorry your event cannot go ahead and please be assured, we also share your frustration at the situation.

Much cheaper to book an event directly rather going through a third party company such as Red Cactus Events. They lie by saying that their events are better organised compared to competitors, but they do not organise the events only book the slot for you. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

We understand you enquired with us on 20th March for an event on 20th April and you made payment to confirm your booking for the 20th April on the 15th April, five days prior to the event date. The pricing of the event was transparent throughout your booking process and all the information was provided to you.
As we do not have all the information, we are unable to comment on anything you have seen elsewhere. We only know that you requested to cancel your event after making payment to confirm your booking as you advised you had found a cheaper alternative.
We do understand that there may be operators who offer similar events to those we offer at a different price point to ours. We work with a number of suppliers nationwide, many of which we have been working with for many years. We are confident in their ability to deliver a great event and this is reflected in our pricing.
Whilst we understand that you may have found an alternative elsewhere, we do hope that you will consider continuing with your event with us as we do believe the event will be enjoyable for you and your group.

Paid the deposit for my son's party. No confirmation of party booking and I was told they were waiting on the venue to confirm. After a few frustrating phone calls, I contacted the venue directly to ensure they had received the booking request and they had no record of it. I have cancelled the party as I do not trust this company. In doing so I have lost my £50 deposit and will have a disappointed son. I do not recomend this company.

I am afraid the process works very differently for us and how we work with venues. We cannot simply book online which would be so straight forward.
I can assure you the venue did indeed have a request for the booking via our partner who would have fulfilled the booking.
At no stage did we have any issues fulfilling your party, as such the deposit is indeed non-refundable as per our terms and conditions

We booked a hen party life drawing class through this company advertised as 'Life Drawing for Hen Parties isn’t designed to be a serious activity, it should be lots of fun and leave you laughing for the rest of the day!' However, our experience was dismal at best.
The atmosphere was very subdued and felt very serious in content. The model also told us an inappropriate, traumatic story that left us all feeling upset, bringing the mood down.
The room it was booked in was grubby and set out like a meeting, not the fun exciting setting you would expect. The model was an older gentleman and not what we were expecting for a hen party package. As mature women, the model was old enough do be father to many of us. If a younger group of women had booked this, I would be very worried.
Myself and all other hens have been left feeling traumatised by this experience, and actually had a group meeting the next morning to collect our thoughts.
We have put a complaint in with the company and they are shifting blame onto the hen party saying that it is our responsibility to bring the 'party atmosphere' and accepting no blame for this. We are a positive bunch of women and can assure you we had a great 'party atmosphere' everywhere else we went, that is once we got over this terrible experience.
I would argue it is the company responsibility to deliver on promises of fun, not rely on the group to create a 'party atmosphere', surely the hosts representing the company have a huge part to play in this? Do they actually receive any training to fulfill the companies promises?
Information (which I cannot disclose on here) provided by the company has been contradictory to what the model informed us on the day. This discrepancy has left me questioning the integrity of the company. They confirm this information was a misunderstanding when I questioned it further.
I would not want any other women to go through this and would not recommend this company.

We are sorry that you were disappointed with your Life Drawing Class experience and as you have mentioned, we have addressed your complaint with you directly.
We understand you are not happy with our resolution of a partial refund and therefore, unhappy with the outcome of your complaint.
Your event was held at a four star hotel, The Old Ship, in Brighton. It is a regular venue for all Hen Party Life Drawing Classes in Brighton due to it's central location. We are sorry to hear that it did not meet your standards, this is the first instance that we have had feedback regarding the rooms being grubby before.
As we have assured you in our response to your complaint, all models are vetted and trained. The model for your event was a regular model who modelled in four back to back classes on the day of your event.
The information provided by us which was contradictory was regarding the models age. We accept that the model may have informed you that his age was different to the age we were informed of by our activity provider and as you say, we confirmed this may have been a misunderstanding. Life Drawing models do vary in age and looks and we are sorry to hear that you were not happy with the age and appearance of the model you received for your event.
Life Drawing is our most popular Hen Party event and we have groups participating in classes every weekend with overall positive feedback. We once again are sorry to hear that your class did not meet your expectation.

Terrible customer service, very, very rude. The booking 'experience' for the GPS Challenge was absolutely AWFUL!! Total waste of money. Would NEVER use or recommend this company - MUCH better companies offering much better service are available elsewhere.

Took part in their “betrayers” event last night and was absolutely blown away by the quality of the event. Really fantastic work and made my dream of being on the show a reality!

Was invited along to play the Betrayors event and it was fantastic! Felt like I was on the actual traitors tv show. With so many fun activities and then trying to guess who the traitors might be! Had a great time and would definitely recommend it!

We had a life drawing class booked for our friends hen party, having done one before for another friend’s hen doo we were all excited.
After submitting our booking with Red cactus we found the communication wasn’t the best, I found myself chasing things up quite a lot and waiting for emails back only to have to call again to get someone to reply to me. After chasing up our location for the class for weeks we finally got the location a few days before…. It was in a community centre. On the day we arrived at the community centre, where there were kinds party's and kids music lessons going on next door, there was a lady and man waiting for us (the lady as lovley as she was was drinking a can of thatchers) we thought it was all quite bizarre and seemed a bit unprofessional, she was in charge of running the class and the man doing the life drawing barely spoke a word. I think the pictures on the web-sight are VERY misleading and are false advertising, the man we had looked nothing like the men shown on the web-sight, the sight shows a bar location, not a community centre with a man that doesn't talk and a lady drinking alcohol and talking for him. Luckily we all made the best of the class and ended up just laughing about how strange it all was. Overall sadly we wouldn’t use red cactus events again.

We had an absolutely amazing time on a day trip/booze cruise in Croatia last month - organised by Red Cactus!
Sea sickness tablets offered prior to departure. Charming host onboard. No stone left unturned. We had such a laugh.

3 Table Casino Evening: We arranged this event as the conclusion to our annual Business Meeting. The event was professionally organized. The croupiers were very knowledgeable, helpful and above all great fun. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the evening and I would highly recommend Red Cactus.

Incredible boat trip organised by Red Cactus Events! Their attention to detail pre-booking was excellent and knew exactly what we were after.
Great day on the boat too - sun, swim stops, Hvar visit, brill boat hosts and good food.

The presenters, John and Matt, were fantastic. They made the whole event enjoyable and everyone felt welcome and included. When we realised the room was slightly smaller than anticipated they calmly adapted what games they could put out which, as the organiser, helped reduce my stress levels. I'd thoroughly recommend Pub Olympics for team building events and John and Matt in particular.

For my sisters hen do we did the old school sports day at Powerleague. Mike was our coach and he just absolutely made the activity for us, remembered everyone's names and included everyone! Had us all in stitches in laughing, would definitely come back, the games were suitable for all ages and we had such a laugh throughout in our teams, highly recommend!

We used Red Cactus for an 'Old Sports Day' event at our recent summer party, and we were really impressed with how organised they were and how they managed to rally some teams together. Sadly, we didnt get to play disco dodgeball as we didnt really have the best space for it, but i think the sports day activities tired everyone out enough as it was. Would def use these guys again.

Booked a double event for my son’s 21st birthday Archery/ Combat followed by Goggle Football. Both activities went very well.👍 The young lady running them for us was very friendly but tough on rule breaking 😂. The only problem we encountered was in finding the actual point of contact, the venue reception was very much less than helpful.
