Over the weekend we had the pleasure of attending the highly anticipated pre-opening event at the stunning Co-op Live Arena in Manchester. Not only where we graced with the legendary presence of Rick Astley, but we were provided with complimentary food and drink throughout the evening. The arena has a strong vision of being the most sustainable arena in Europe. The #netzero building itself has sustainability at its core and is hoping to be awarded ‘excellent’ BREEAM once opened. Next on our Earth Day series, we're talking about carbon calculation. Since 2023, we’ve measured our Scope 1, 2 and 3 carbon emissions using the Normative.io Business Carbon Calculator. Each of Zentive’s business activities is inputted into Normative and is paired with a corresponding emissions factor, which generates the calculation of its total carbon footprint: ∑ (Business activity × Emission factor) = Company Carbon Footprint This provides an accurate estimate which we can use to analyse which areas are producing more emissions and how to reduce these. #carboncalculation #earthday #sustainablebusiness #sustainability

Sustainable Venue Alert 🚨🌿 Last week, we had the pleasure of visiting the gorgeous Casa Bonay based in the heart of Barcelona. As well as being a vibrant hotel in a restored 19th century neoclassical mansion, it also boasts 5 flexible event spaces and a strong commitment to sustainability.
